Computer Training and Qualifications:

Otago Polytechnic recognises that computing skills are fundamental life skills. In fact, todays employers increasingly expect their staff to be conversant with computing at an introductory level.

Qualification 4 U (Q4U) is your chance to gain a nationally-recognised computing qualification by studying in your own time, at your own place.

The certificate is designed to be flexible enough to fit around the daily demands of busy people, like you! The teaching materials are designed to help you learn at your own pace and check your progress along the way.

When can I start?

Simply register and book your 2 hour session for the course of your choice online. You could start your training today!

Each course starts with a 2 hour introductory session at one of our convenient locations throughout Otago.

What can I study?

We have a range of courses on offer, all of which allow you to work at your own pace and recognise the skills you already have. There is no particular order in which you study the courses and you can choose where you feel most comfortable to start.Flexible options are:

• Individual courses of interest to you.
  OR
• Selection of courses to suit your needs.
  OR
• Combination of courses to achieve the National Certificate.
